The first luxury, modular unit of the Fleksihus development in Visby, Gotland Island, has been completed.
The completed structure will serve as a show-house for the Visby development, and is constructed from high-end, quality materials which are also durable and adhere to environmental standards. The overall finish of the structure is one of luxury and finesse, despite the fact that the units will go on sale for prices far below that of similar-sized and quality traditional housing.
Fleksihus CEO Martin Nilsson commented “This is an important step in the creation of a unique Fleksihus community development in a highly prestigious location. All Fleksihus units are built to best practice international standards, are highly environmentally-friendly, and cost approx. 50% of similar-sized and quality houses which use the
traditional bricks and mortar approach to construction. We believe that the Fleksihus development in Visby is not only an exciting development for Gotland Island, but a pre-cursor of how the concept of comfortable, eco-friendly living will over time become a natural choice for many thousands of people all over Europe and beyond.”
Construction on further units is ongoing, and the development will eventually consist of over 100 luxury houses.
